The Concrete Home Specialist designation was created in an effort to identify qualified concrete home builders. The Concrete Home Specialist designation is intended to increase awareness of ICF construction as well as to increase the visibility of qualified builders to consumers and all those related to the construction industry.
Concrete Home Specialists must be endorsed by a member of the Aggregate & Ready Mix Association of Minnesota. They must also be a member of the Insulating Concrete Form Association and follow their established Code of Ethics and Standards and Practices. If the Concrete Home Specialist is a General Contractor, they must be a licensed builder in the State of Minnesota. All Concrete Home Specialists must have completed a minimum of three (3) ICF homes. In order to retain the Concrete Home Specialist designation, at least three homes or a minimum of 50% of the builder’s annual production must be ICF construction.
